NO TO ATTACKS ON FOREIGN NATIONALS
The Mayor of Molemole would like to join the government in calling for an end to the violent attacks on foreign nationals
happening in the country. These attacks are a misrepresentation of South Africa's
Democracy order, and who we are as a Nation.
Molemole Municipality stands together with Government in condemning the violence, and
further encourages community members to promote peace and non-violence against foreign
nationals. Attacks on foreign nationals and looting are criminal offences and will not be
tolerated.
As the Municipality that shares borders with Botswana and Zimbabwe, we encourage
community members not to forget the hospitality offered to our exiled leaders by these countries
and many others across Africa during our very own struggle for liberation. This is our turn to
return the hospitality, generosity and respect they gave to our leaders. Africa is for Africans.
